As a Project Engineer Soft Landscape, your role involves the execution, supervision, and coordination of soft landscape works at project sites. You will ensure quality, timely delivery, and compliance with project specifications while effectively managing manpower, materials, and subcontractors. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, coordinate, and supervise all soft landscape activities such as planting, turfing, irrigation, soil preparation, and maintenance. - Ensure compliance with project specifications, horticultural best practices, and health & safety standards. - Prepare and review shop drawings, method statements, and material submittals related to soft landscape works. - Monitor daily site progress and prepare progress reports for management/client. - Manage site manpower, materials, and equipment to ensure timely completion within budget. - Coordinate with consultants, clients, and subcontractors for approvals and inspections. - Ensure the quality of planting materials, soil mixes, and turf, and oversee nursery inspections when required. - Provide technical guidance on horticultural practices, plant selection, and pest/disease management. - Assist in project planning, scheduling, and cost control in collaboration with the planning/quantity surveying team. - Ensure proper documentation, including site reports, checklists, and project records. - Support the maintenance team in establishing effective post-installation care for landscaped areas. **Key Skills & Competencies:** - Strong knowledge of horticulture, agronomy, and soil science. - Experience in execution of large-scale soft landscaping projects. - Proficiency in reading drawings and technical specifications. - Strong leadership and team management skills. - Excellent communication and coordination abilities. - Familiarity with irrigation systems related to landscaping. - Problem-solving and decision-making abilities. **Preferred Candidate Profile:** - B.Sc. in Agriculture / Horticulture (mandatory). - Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in soft landscaping. - Prior experience in GCC landscaping projects preferred. - Valid UAE Driving License is an added advantage.
