Project Associate - H2HD

We are looking for a project associate to work with our team on the adolescent girls empowerment project, Hosa Hejje Hosa Dishe (New Step in New Direction).

If you are a young woman proficient in Kannada, and are excited to work towards empowering adolescent girls, we invite you to be part of this team.

This role requires a female candidate due to the specific nature of its responsibilities. Please do not apply if you are a male.

Roles and responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans collaboratively with the team while making autonomous decisions
• Actively engage in the process of ideation for digital resource strategy for various cohorts - adolescent girls, teachers, student teachers, and parents
• Facilitate adolescent empowerment curriculum in classrooms for adolescent girls
• Process documentation of various programme components
• Active participation in creating knowledge outputs
• Take ownership of assigned project components, and execute initiatives with minimal supervision
• Travel across Karnataka if and when needed

Required skills, competences and attitudes:

• Language proficiency in Kannada and English (read, write, and speak)
• 2 -3 years of relevant experience with a commitment to social change
• Ease with using technologies, and enthusiasm to learn new digital technologies
• Work independently and with the team when needed with equal ease
• Willingness to multitask when needed
• Good communication skills

Preference will be given if:

• You have Kannada typing knowledge
• You belong to marginalised or minority communities
• You are a feminist

The job location is Bengaluru.

Remuneration will align with prior experience and qualifications.
