As a Project Associate-1 (Research) in the Quantum Matter Group at GITAM University, Bangalore, funded by the Anusandhan National Research Foundation (ANRF), you will have the opportunity to delve into the intriguing realm of light-matter interaction in two-dimensional pnictogen-based devices under various experimental conditions. This position offers an exciting journey into the world of quantum materials and systems, with the guidance of Dr. Sreemanta Mitra. Your role as a Project Associate involves conducting experimental and/or theoretical research in quantum materials, collaborating with team members on experiments and simulations, developing innovative methodologies for device fabrication and quantum studies, contributing to research publications and academic activities, and supporting undergraduate students as well as assisting in teaching activities when required. Applicants for this position should hold a degree in Physics, Engineering Physics, or related fields (MSc/BE/BTech), with a strong foundation in quantum mechanics and Condensed Matter Physics. Proficiency in programming and experience with experimental setups or computational tools used in quantum research are advantageous. A minimum commitment of one year is required, reflecting dedication and sincerity towards the work.
