Project Assistant-II: 01 post

Essential Qualifications: B.Sc (Chemistry)

Desirable experience: The selected candidate will have to work on the project entitled “Scale up of Indigenous membrane/modules and pilot plant for water softening and wastewater treatment”. The candidate will be working on polymeric membrane synthesis, characterization, process development and demonstration of the processes.

Emoluments: Emoluments as per CSIR guidelines: Rs. 20,000/- pm + HRA

Age: Maximum 35 years. As on the last date of receipt of applications through email i.e. 08th October, 2025. Age relaxation is applicable as per CSIR rules.

Duration: This position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project. The engagement of a project staff in different projects either in the CSIR - Central Salt & Marine Chemicals Research Institute, Bhavnagar or different Lab./ Institute of CSIR taken together shall not exceed 6 years in any case. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidate for claiming extension or absorption in CSIR-CSMCRI, Bhavnagar.
