Programming Analyst

As a Programmer/Analyst at our company, your role involves performing complex analysis and application programming using .Net and Visual Studio against a SQL database back end. Your responsibilities include: - Gathering and analyzing requirements - Designing, developing, and implementing effective solutions using appropriate technologies - Suggesting enhancements - Partnering with the business to identify opportunities for improved efficiency - Documenting the solutions according to established departmental practices You will be utilizing skills in VB.Net, C#, SQL, Visual Studio, and other scripting and programming languages to: - Design, develop, debug, and document programs and reports - Provide primary and secondary support for Columbia Machine, Inc."s CAD, CAM & PDM engineering applications - Develop an understanding of assigned application packages and data table structures - Identify opportunities and determine scope for projects to improve efficiency and accuracy of processes and systems - Provide programming support for large-scale or complex projects - Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applications and programming discipline Additionally, you will be supporting the implementation of in-house and vendor-assisted software upgrades, conversions, and release testing as directed. These responsibilities and tasks will require strong analytical skills, programming expertise, and the ability to work collaboratively with internal users to drive continuous improvement in systems and processes.,
