Program Manager - Chipset Software

Qualcomm India Private Limited is seeking a Software Program Manager to provide program management support and leadership for the planning, development, and delivery of software across multiple technology areas and product segments. In this role, you will collaborate with various technology areas such as HLOS, BSP, Modem, Connectivity, and Multimedia, as well as Product Managers, HW engineering, and Business teams. Your responsibilities will include driving requirements scoping, analysis, and planning, as well as establishing clear commitments and priorities. You must have a strong technical understanding of software deliverables, risk management, and mitigation strategies. It is essential to establish rigorous execution discipline, communication processes, and program indicators to manage program health effectively. Additionally, you will work with other functional areas to develop critical processes that support disciplined product development and decision-making. The ideal candidate should have 10-15 years of experience in software product development and program management in the semiconductor/wireless industry, with domain knowledge of Wireless/Semiconductors/Embedded SW. Experience with end-to-end product integration and managing software products through the entire development life cycle is required. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field and at least 2 years of Program Management or related work experience are also necessary.
