Role Overview We are hiring an experienced Senior PostgreSQL/Oracle DBA with strong expertise in EDB PostgreSQL, Oracle, and AWS RDS for PostgreSQL. The role involves managing and optimizing mission-critical databases with a focus on performance tuning, high availability, and security. Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migration experience is a strong plus. Key Responsibilities Administer & manage EDB PostgreSQL / AWS RDS databases Handle installation, upgrades, patching & migrations Ensure backup, replication, disaster recovery & HA Monitor & tune database performance and queries Implement security, auditing & compliance standards Automate DBA tasks (Python / Shell / Bash) Support Oracle-to-PostgreSQL migrations Provide production support & troubleshooting Collaborate with DevOps/Cloud teams Required Skills 8+ years DBA experience Strong PostgreSQL / EDB PostgreSQL skills Oracle DBA experience Hands-on with AWS RDS for PostgreSQL Knowledge of pgBackRest / Barman, scripting (Linux, Shell, Python) Strong understanding of performance tuning & DB internals Excellent troubleshooting & security experience Nice to Have Familiarity with CloudWatch, Terraform, Ansible Knowledge of AWS services (VPC, IAM, EC2, Secrets Manager) Interested Candidates Send your resume to: info@proedgeglobal.in Call / WhatsApp: +91 7982199087
