Production planner - furniture/cutting- manufacturing

As a Furniture Cutting List Engineer, your role involves studying and analyzing furniture design drawings, shop drawings, or CAD layouts. You will be responsible for breaking down complete furniture items into individual parts that need to be cut and preparing a cutting list with precise dimensions, materials, edgebanding requirements, and quantities. Your key responsibilities include: - Study and analyze furniture design drawings, shop drawings, or CAD layouts. - Break down complete furniture items into individual parts that need to be cut. - Prepare a cutting list with precise dimensions, materials, edgebanding requirements, and quantities. - Optimize material usage to minimize wastage. - Coordinate with the design team to clarify any discrepancies in drawings. - Communicate with the factory or production team to ensure smooth fabrication. - Ensure cutting lists are ready in time for production deadlines. - Update cutting lists if any changes occur in design or site measurements. To excel in this role, you should have a good understanding of furniture construction and joinery, ability to read and interpret technical drawings, knowledge of materials, attention to detail and accuracy, basic computer knowledge, and good coordination and communication skills. In terms of qualifications, you should have 6 months to 3 years of experience in a similar role. This is a full-time, permanent position with benefits including health insurance, paid sick time, and Provident Fund. The work schedule is during the day shift, and the work location is in person.
