Company: Metplast Industries
Proposed work base: Factory in Khopoli or Khalapur.
Purpose:
Convert customer orders into a workable factory plan, lead supervisors and operators, and deliver inspected,complete equipment kits for dispatch.
Candidate preference
Prefer direct production leadership in sheet metal fabrication, with working knowledge of laser cutting, CNC orturret punching and press brake bending. Also assess assembly, quality, maintenance and workforce management. Poultry experience is useful but does not replace sheet metal production capability.
Responsibilities
1. Prepare daily and weekly machine and manpower plans from approved BOMs, routings, drawing revisions, material availability and due dates.
2. Load cutting, punching, bending and assembly using credible cycle and setup times. Control bottlenecks, work in progress and complete project kits.
3. Ensure first-piece checks, in-process inspection and correct drawings and programs at each operation. Trace and contain nonconforming batches.
4. Reduce avoidable setup delays, scrap, rework and waiting through practical corrective actions and operator development.
5. Coordinate material shortages, drawing issues, preventive maintenance and breakdown recovery with the responsible teams.
6. Maintain safe working methods, trained staffing and realistic dispatch plans. Report plan versus actual output,losses, shortages and decisions needed.
Preferred background
Mechanical or production engineering background, or equivalent practical manufacturing experience. Suggested experience: 8 to 12 years, including responsibility for supervisors, operators and delivery performance.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
