Job Description

Role Overview: As a Production Operator, your primary responsibility will be to oversee the production to packaging process. You will be required to start and stop machines according to the operation schedule, conduct regular quality checks, record process parameters, and ensure accurate production as per quantity and quality specifications. Additionally, you will weigh waste materials, prepare machines for mold changes, and record packing details in the production register. It is crucial to report any deviations in machine operations or product quality promptly and assist the Machine/Shift Supervisor and Mould Change Team during mold and color changeovers. Maintaining workplace discipline by adhering strictly to safety norms and guidelines, as well as carrying out any additional responsibilities assigned by management, are also part of your duties. Key Responsibilities: - Start and stop machines as per operation schedule - Perform parison controls and monitor material usage - Conduct regular visual and technical quality checks - Check and record process parameters - Weigh waste materials/lumps and document in daily reports - Prepare machines for mold changes - Ensure accurate production as per quantity and quality specifications - Record packing details in the production register - Report any deviations in machine operations or product quality promptly - Assist Machine/Shift Supervisor and Mould Change Team during changeovers - Maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping around your workstation - Adhere strictly to all safety norms and guidelines - Carry out any additional responsibilities assigned by management Qualifications Required: - CIPET Diploma holders - Diploma in Technical/Mechanical fields (especially with experience or training in the plastics industry) - Science Graduates with an interest in production and quality control - Flexible and adaptable - Prepared to work for long hours Additional Details: The company welcomes freshers who are passionate about building a career in manufacturing.
