Product Strategy Analyst

As a Market Analyst in the automotive industry, you will be responsible for conducting thorough market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and technologies, customer preferences, and regulatory changes. Your focus will be on the Indian automotive market with potential global market considerations. You will play a key role in developing and refining the product strategy for the company's vehicle portfolio, encompassing both short-term and long-term perspectives. Conducting regular benchmarking exercises against competitors and analyzing their product offerings, technology adoption, and market strategies will also be part of your responsibilities. Collaboration with cross-functional teams such as Engineering, Design, Marketing, Sales, Manufacturing, and Finance is essential to ensure alignment on product strategy and execution. In addition, you will assist in the development of long-range product plans and strategic initiatives, contributing to presentations and reports for senior management on product strategy and market outlook. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Automotive, Mechanical, Electrical), Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. An MBA or Master's degree would be advantageous. You should possess 3-6 years of relevant experience in product strategy, product planning, market analysis, or business development within the automotive industry or related sectors. A strong understanding of the automotive market, including vehicle technologies, market segments, and competitive landscape, is required, with specific knowledge of the Indian automotive market preferred. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, along with the ability to think strategically and creatively, are necessary for success in this position.
