Product Manager – Life Insurance & Annuity

Location : Jaipur / Noida / Bangalore / Pune / Noida

Experience:

  • 10+ years

    in Product Management, with

    at least 3+ years

    specializing in Life Insurance and/or Annuity products.
  • Strong understanding of the

    Life and Annuity product lifecycle

    , regulatory environment, and core insurance processes (e.g., new business application, policy administration, actuarial modeling).


Key Responsibilities

  • Requirements Definition:

  • Translate complex Life and Annuity business requirements—including policy mechanics, compliance, underwriting rules, and commission structures—into clear, detailed

    Product Requirement Documents (PRDs)

    , epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering, QA, and design teams.

  • Agile Leadership:

  • Serve as

    Product Owner

    in an Agile/Scrum environment, actively participating in all ceremonies (sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives).
  • Maintain a well-groomed, ready-to-execute backlog and ensure alignment with business priorities.
  • Demonstrate expert proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies, including backlog management, writing technical user stories, and driving successful sprint cycles.


Preferred Skills

  • Deep knowledge of

    Life and Annuity products

    , compliance frameworks, and operational processes.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills to bridge business and technology teams.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex products in a regulated environment.
