Product Manager I (Credit Risk Products)

Job Description

Ideal Candidate Persona: Product Manager I (Credit Risk Products) Background & Experience Total Experience: 46 years in banking, fintech, or risk technology companies. Domain Expertise: At least 3 years in credit risk within a bank, NBFC, or financial institution. Product Management Experience: Minimum 3 years managing risk-related products , preferably EWS, ECL, or NPA. Hands-on Exposure: Experience in developing or implementing risk solutions (e.g., working with risk teams, IT teams, or vendors on risk product implementation). Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of RBI guidelines and risk management frameworks in lending institutions. Skills & Competencies Product Mindset: Ability to think strategically about risk solutions, prioritize features, and enhance product value. Technical Acumen: Familiarity with data sources, risk modeling, and early warning signals used in credit risk management. Stakeholder Management: Experience working with risk teams, business users, data scientists, and technology teams to build and implement products. Communication Skills: Strong ability to articulate product vision , prepare documentation, and conduct stakeholder presentations. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze credit risk challenges and translate them into product features and solutions . Preferred Qualifications Experience in EWS Implementation: Worked on designing or deploying Early Warning Systems for banks or NBFCs. Knowledge of Risk Metrics: Familiarity with PD (Probability of Default), LGD (Loss Given Default), EAD (Exposure at Default) , NPA Classifications , and other credit risk indicators. Location: Based out of Bangalore or open to relocation. Work Mode: Comfortable with a hybrid work model .
