Product Lead - Opterra - Investment & Portfolio Accounting (UBOR)

This role presents an opportunity to shape the next generation of products used by leading hedge funds and collaborate with industry experts. **Key Responsibilities:** - Carry the product/feature from concept to creation - Brainstorm product/feature and its value proposition to our client base - Distill the vision into documents such as product roadmap and product/feature specification - Work closely with engineers/architects to translate the Product Specification to design - Prepare comprehensive business test cases/beds to aid the engineering process - Evaluate the progress of product/feature-in-flight and ensure compliance to the specification - Track and question risks/assumptions - Proactively escalate issues and mitigate execution risks - Conduct competitor analysis **Qualifications Required:** - 5+ years of experience in front, middle and/or back-office with advanced knowledge in Trade Accounting - Working knowledge of Fixed income asset classes and concepts like amortization, loan settlements - Experience working closely with engineers - Outstanding academic background & passion for high-tech software development - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Critical thinking and ability to influence stakeholders - Ability to multitask with attention to detail and quality - Personal maturity and collaborative attitude - Resourcefulness, domain expertise, creativity, and execution prowess - Proficiency in Python coding - Postgraduate degree in finance - Certifications such as CA, CFA will be advantageous,
