PRODUCT ENGINEER

As a Software Engineer in this role based in Kolkata, you will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining REST APIs, Client Libraries, and Mobile SDKs. Collaborating with engineers, designers, and product managers, you will contribute to scaling new features across the company. Additionally, you will play a key role in enhancing engineering standards, tooling, and processes to drive continuous improvement. To excel in this position, you should have proficiency in at least one of the following languages: C++, Java, Golang, JavaScript/Node.js. With a minimum of 2 years of industry experience in engineering, you should demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to various programming languages, stacks, and frameworks. Your experience should include substantial contributions to large, scalable web applications and services, along with the ability to take ownership of a feature from its conceptualization through design, development, and deployment phases. Exposure to both SQL and NoSQL databases is essential for success in this role. Desirable qualifications for this role include a degree in Computer Science, familiarity with architectural patterns of large web applications, proficiency in multiple programming languages, active involvement in open-source projects, prior experience in a product-focused organization, knowledge of cloud computing best practices, and experience working with Agile Methodologies.,
