Product Development Manager - Headphones

You will be responsible for leading the product development of headphones at our company in E-City, Hyderabad, Telangana. As a Product Development Manager for headphones, your role will involve the following key responsibilities: - Define and manage the product roadmap for different types of headphones - Lead the product development process from idea generation to final product launch - Collaborate with designers to create comfortable and ergonomic headphone designs - Coordinate with engineers to incorporate features such as ANC, Bluetooth, and high-res audio - Ensure the mechanical design of the headphones is durable and user-friendly - Select and test drivers based on sound quality objectives - Tune acoustics and refine sound quality to meet desired standards - Conduct tests for performance, noise cancellation, and battery life evaluation - Oversee the creation of prototypes and manage product testing including drop, wear, moisture, and sound testing - Work with vendors and factories to ensure smooth production processes - Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs) and technical documentation for production - Maintain consistency in parts and build quality throughout the manufacturing process - Perform safety and durability tests to ensure product compliance with standards - Ensure products meet BIS, WPC, and other local regulatory requirements - Implement quality checks during production to maintain product quality - Lead and mentor a team of engineers working on product development - Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively - Provide regular progress updates and report any issues to the leadership team Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Acoustical Engineering (or similar) - Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience leading headphone or in-ear audio product development in the consumer electronics industry This is a full-time position based in E-City, Hyderabad, Telangana. The salary range for this role is between 12LPA to 15LPA. In addition to competitive compensation, you will also be eligible for Provident Fund benefits.
