About The Business Unit Abound (ExTimes Club) is a fintech app and cross-border neobank designed for the Indian and South Asian diaspora. The platform offers personalized and exclusive rewards for purchases made using credit or debit cards, as well as on Abound transactions. With a focus on the traditionally underserved South Asian diaspora, Abound provides tailored rewards for businesses catering to this community, such as Indian grocery stores, OTT streaming apps, and money remittance services. Users of the neobank also benefit from additional services within the Times ecosystem, including free subscriptions to cricket and Bollywood streaming services, along with seamless money remittances between the US and India. Abound stands out as a unique initiative, combining fintech with media, advertising, and commerce models in a comprehensive manner. About The Role We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer with a minimum of 6 years of experience designing end-to-end digital experiences for top tech or consumer brands in India. In this role, you will directly report to the Head of Product and collaborate closely with product managers and engineering teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces. Key Responsibilities Wireframes & User Flows: Transform product requirements into clear and intuitive wireframes and user flows. High-Fidelity Mockups: Develop polished and pixel-perfect screens using Figma or equivalent design tools. Prototypes & Interaction Design: Construct interactive prototypes to test animations, transitions, and complex interactions. Design-System Governance: Manage and enhance a scalable component library, documenting patterns, tokens, and usage guidelines. Usability Testing & User Research: Plan and conduct usability tests, analyze feedback, and implement design improvements. Accessibility: Ensure that all interfaces adhere to WCAG guidelines for inclusive user experiences. Design QA: Review implementations, identify visual or interaction issues, and collaborate with engineers to deliver high-quality releases. Collaboration: Engage with Product, Engineering, and QA teams to ensure timely project delivery. Skills & Expertise Design Tools: Proficient in Figma for design and prototyping, with additional skills in Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe After Effects being advantageous. Interaction & Animation: Demonstrated expertise in micro-interactions, motion design, or basic After Effects capabilities. User Research: Familiar with research methods such as surveys, interviews, and usability tests to drive design decisions. Design Systems: Hands-on experience with component libraries, token management, and design-to-code workflows. Accessibility: Strong knowledge of web accessibility standards, specifically WCAG 2.1+. Collaboration & Communication: Ability to articulate design decisions effectively and advocate for user-centric design in cross-functional settings. Eligibility Minimum of 6 years of UI/UX design experience. At least 5 years of design experience in consumer-facing B2C apps or businesses. Portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work. Experience in agile and fast-paced environments. Location: Based in Delhi/NCR, able to work from our Noida office for at least 3 days per week.,
