We are seeking a talented and experienced Structural Drafter with a minimum of 3 years of experience in residential engineering drafting. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background, familiarity with international standards (specifically Australian standards preferred), and the ability to create high-quality structural drawings that align with client requirements and regulatory standards. As a Structural Drafter, your key responsibilities will include developing precise and detailed structural drawings for residential projects using AutoCAD software. You will be required to interpret engineering designs, collaborate with engineers and architects to refine designs, manage project documentation efficiently, review project specifications for accuracy, and communicate effectively with clients and international stakeholders. The successful candidate must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in structural drafting, proficiency in AutoCAD (experience with Revit or Tekla is advantageous), exceptional attention to detail, the ability to work well in a diverse team environment, strong communication skills, and excellent organizational and time-management abilities. Experience in drafting for international clients, particularly in Australia, and knowledge of advanced structural engineering drafting tools would be desirable.
