Procurement Practice Specialist

You will be working as a Procurement Practice Specialist at Accenture, a global professional services company renowned for its expertise in digital, cloud, and security solutions. With 7 to 11 years of experience and a graduation degree, you will play a crucial role in helping clients optimize their spending on goods and services by going beyond processing purchase orders to drive savings and value creation. As part of the Procurement management team, you will adopt a systematic approach to purchasing essential goods and services to ensure the company's sustainability. Your responsibilities will include identifying needs, assessing and qualifying suppliers, soliciting proposals, negotiating contracts, managing deliveries, and evaluating outcomes. You will have the opportunity to develop a deep understanding of request for proposal (RFP) and request for quotation (RFQ) processes, and utilize both price and non-price factors to make informed decisions. In this role, you will be expected to analyze and solve moderately complex problems, potentially creating new solutions by adapting existing methods and procedures. Your interactions will primarily involve your direct supervisor, although you may also engage with peers and management both internally and at client sites. While you will receive guidance on new assignments, the decisions you make will significantly impact the team's outcomes. If in an individual contributor role, you may lead small teams or work efforts, either at client locations or within Accenture. Please note that this position may require you to work in rotational shifts, aligning with the strategic direction set by senior management to achieve team goals effectively.
