The candidate must have in-depth knowledge of manufacturers and suppliers dealing with cement, steel, iron, plumbing fixtures, paints, roofing materials, and related products. Job Responsibilities and Duties: Identify, evaluate, and select manufacturers and suppliers for building materials. Work collaboratively with construction management team to ful fill material requirements and manage stock levels. Interview Guy+7Indeed+7Prospects+7Expertia Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers and subcontractors. Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains. Analyze market trends and pricing to reduce procurement costs while maintaining quality. Conducts periodic meetings with subordinates to ensure a smooth workflow. Prepare and maintain purchasing records, approve bill payments, assign invoices to the appropriate account. Track the status of requisitions, contracts, and orders. Conduct deep research via the Internet, catalogs, trade publications to figure out potential supplier. Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies Required Experience and Qualification: Minimum 3-5 years of experience Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of building materials, including cement, steel, iron, plumbing, paint, and roofing products. Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
