Job Description

As a Procurement Coordinator based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, you will be responsible for managing procurement activities in line with global standards and timelines. Your primary working hours will align with European Time to facilitate effective communication and collaboration with international stakeholders. With 2 to 4 years of relevant work experience, you will be expected to demonstrate strong negotiation skills and possess advanced proficiency in MS Excel. Fluency in either French or German is crucial, along with a strong command of English to effectively engage with diverse suppliers and internal teams. Your key responsibilities will include managing the end-to-end process of Requests for Information (RFI), Requests for Quotation (RFQ), and Requests for Proposal (RFP). This involves collaborating with internal stakeholders to define procurement requirements, evaluating supplier proposals, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations. You will also play a vital role in supplier and vendor coordination by identifying, evaluating, and shortlisting potential vendors based on sourcing needs. Maintaining an updated supplier database, facilitating onboarding processes, and exploring new procurement options will be essential to enhance the company's supplier network. In terms of procurement documentation and compliance, you will be tasked with drafting, organizing, and maintaining procurement records while ensuring adherence to internal policies and regulatory requirements. Tracking contract renewals, extensions, and performance metrics will also fall under your purview to ensure seamless procurement operations. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in procurement or purchasing roles, strong negotiation and communication skills, proficiency in French or German, and knowledge of procurement best practices are crucial. Experience with ERP systems will be advantageous in executing your duties effectively.,
