Procurement Assistant ( Export Import )

✓ Negotiate competitive price with suppliers but also ensure adherence to quality as per approved samples

✓ Check all the details for correctness and agreed terms in the purchase order sheet received from buyer

✓ Closely monitor procurement for timely receipt of bulk material. Sign approved material trims for Store. Approve/reject bulk material for production in case of variation from approved trim

✓ Collaborate with merchants to achieve lowest best material prices from good quality vendors

✓ Assisting in requisitions and place purchase orders. Communicate proactively via email, phone or fax with suppliers

✓ Update all information on the ERP. Submit bills to accounts timely.

✓ Work with vendors to place orders for the products and raw materials that a business needs. Maintain inventory and purchase records. Research and develop new vendors in coordination with dept in-charge.

✓ Be familiar with import Shipment Documentation such as Clearing Works, Familiar with Shipping and Forwarding Related Works, Booking Freights, Origin Charges, Clearing Formalities etc.

✓ Must have hunger to learn about commercial terms & conditions related to procurement ✓ Research potential vendors. Compare and evaluate offers from suppliers

✓ Negotiate contract terms of agreement and pricing. Track orders and ensure timely delivery

✓ Review quality of purchased products. Enter order details (e.g. vendors, quantities, prices) into internal databases

✓ Maintain updated records of purchased products, delivery information and invoices

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
