The Design and Research Development Engineer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing new products or improving existing ones. The role involves feasibility studies, prototyping, performance testing, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovations from concept to production. Key Responsibilities Create 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD tools. Develop and test prototypes, conduct simulations (FEA/CFD). Conduct research on materials, components, and technologies. Collaborate with production and quality teams for DFM & optimization. Document designs, test reports, and technical specifications. Support patent filing and regulatory compliance processes. Qualifications: B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M.Tech in Mechanical 2–5 years of relevant experience (freshers with strong projects may apply).
