Process and Production Engineer

As a Production & Process Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing solar cell manufacturing processes including Diffusion, PECVD, Screen Printing, Etching, and Firing. Your primary focus will be on optimizing these processes to ensure high-quality output. This role will involve process optimization, defect analysis, lean manufacturing practices, and equipment troubleshooting. Your key responsibilities will include operating and optimizing Centrotherm Diffusion, PECVD, ASYS Screen Printing, and Firing Furnaces. You will be required to implement Statistical Process Control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DOE), and Lean Manufacturing methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, and DMAIC to improve yield. In order to minimize defects, you will conduct root cause analysis using methods like 5-Why, Fishbone, and Pareto analysis. Additionally, you will be responsible for managing Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) such as Siemens, SAP MES, Camstar, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems like SAP and Oracle for production tracking. Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, IEC 61215 standards and maintaining safety protocols for hazardous material handling will be crucial aspects of this role. The ideal candidate should possess skills in process optimization, quality control, and statistical analysis techniques including SPC, DOE, and Six Sigma. Experience in handling equipment like Diffusion, PECVD, Printing, Etching, and Firing will be required. Proficiency in data analytics tools such as MATLAB, Python, Power BI, and Minitab, as well as knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards like ISO 9001 and EHS, will be beneficial for this position.,
