Description
Proceedings is an open access journal dedicated to publishing findings resulting from conferences, workshops, and similar events. As a Proceedings Assistant Editor at MDPI, your primary responsibility will be to support the editorial process for conference proceedings journals. This entails engaging in communication with scholars and experts to organize the peer review process and ensuring that accepted manuscripts align with our layout guidelines for timely publication. Your role will also involve handling email communications between involved parties, identifying potential academic conferences within the journal's discipline, and establishing collaborative relationships with conference organizers or scientific committees. In addition, staying informed about industry trends in conference proceedings journals and assisting the managing editor in achieving the journal's strategic goals will be crucial. To be successful in this position, you should hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree obtained within the past five years and have a major in biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, computer science, materials science, agriculture, medicine and pharmacy, environmental sciences, or related majors. A TOEIC score of 600+, IELTS 6.0+ or TOEFL iBT 60+, along with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, are essential requirements. Strong learning abilities and effective communication skills will also be key assets in fulfilling your responsibilities.
