Selected Intern's Day-to-day Responsibilities Include Data pipeline development: Assist in designing, building, and maintaining scalable data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Databricks to process and transform large datasets. Cloud data platforms: Gain hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, Snowflake, and PostgreSQL to support data storage, processing, and analytics. ETL processes: Help develop and optimize ELT/ETL workflows to ensure efficient data ingestion and transformation. Data quality & monitoring: Contribute to data validation and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of datasets. Database management: Assist in writing and optimizing SQL queries and database operations in PostgreSQL and Snowflake. Collaboration: Work closely with the data engineering team to understand requirements, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions. Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data processes, pipelines, and workflows for future reference. Automation & optimization: Identify opportunities to automate repetitive tasks and improve data processing efficiency.
