We are looking for a skilled Sourcing Engineer with expertise in procurement, vendor development, and cost optimization for mechanical, industrial, and electrical components. The role demands strong negotiation skills, technical understanding, and the ability to deliver cost-effective and quality-driven sourcing solutions within defined timelines. Key Responsibilities: Manage first-time procurement and repeat orders across commodities. Identify, evaluate, and onboard suppliers to ensure cost-effective and quality sourcing. Lead vendor negotiations for pricing, lead time, and quality terms. Interpret technical drawings & specifications for sourcing decisions. Drive strategic sourcing projects and develop alternate supply chains. Oversee component/system integration for industrial & professional power tools. Ensure compliance with commercial, legal & contractual standards . Manage the complete quote-to-PO cycle (PO creation, acknowledgement, follow-ups). Support vendor performance management and cost-of-failure recovery. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve KPIs in cost, quality, and fulfillment . Required Qualifications: BE/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering . 2 -7 years of proven experience in sourcing/procurement roles. Strong skills in: Supplier selection & negotiation Should-cost analysis Strategic/global sourcing Vendor management Proficiency in MS Excel & MS Office tools . Ability to read and understand technical drawings . Experience in new product development & global sourcing preferred. Excellent communication (English) written & verbal.
