Job Summary: We are looking for a highly experienced and dedicated Dairy Technologist based in Hyderabad , who will be responsible for improving the quality and yield of milk and milk products through rigorous testing, real-time MIS tracking, and field audits. The role demands regular travel to chilling centers and the main plant for quality monitoring, surprise audits, and operational oversight. Key Responsibilities: Quality Control & Field Audits: Conduct weekly and surprise audits at chilling centers and dairy plant to enforce quality and hygiene standards. Oversee milk testing protocols (fat/SNF/microbiological) and guide QA teams. Drive continuous improvements in product quality , process hygiene, and compliance with regulatory standards (FSSAI/ISO/HACCP). MIS & Reporting: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly Plant MIS and Procurement MIS reports, with insights into procurement quality, production efficiency, and deviations. Generate quality dashboards and KPI reports for internal review. Maintain real-time data accuracy through coordination with procurement, production, and quality teams. Product Testing & Yield Management: Lead testing and analysis of milk and milk products to ensure optimal yield and quality recovery . Identify and troubleshoot yield losses in fat, SNF, and final products. Provide actionable recommendations for improving milk utilization efficiency. Reconciliation & Inventory Oversight: Manage reconciliation of milk procurement, SNP materials, stores, and finished goods . Coordinate with accounts and inventory teams for accurate tracking and reporting . Minimize stock losses and ensure correct reporting across the supply chain. Qualifications & Skills: Degree in Dairy Technology / Dairy Science / Food Technology . 810 years of experience in dairy production, quality control, and MIS reporting. Strong analytical background with practical experience in milk yield, quality monitoring , and product testing . Proficient in Excel , MIS systems , and ERP tools. Familiarity with FSSAI , ISO , and HACCP compliance standards. Must be willing to travel weekly/monthly to field and plant locations. Sr. Quality Manager Role Responsibility: This role will be responsible for Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Research & Development and New Product Development functioning as a Centre of Excellence. Key responsibilities include ensuring adherence to quality standards for milk as well as other dairy products, across the value chain - procurement, operations and sales, managing all quality operations, leading R&D and new product development as well as continuous improvement initiatives. Central Quality Assurance, R&D, New Product Development as well as Plant Quality Control team members will be reporting to this role. Key Deliverables: 1. Driving compliance as per standards: - Ensuring compliance to guidelines given by FSSAI or any other applicable law/rule with regard to food safety - Ensuring that the plant complies with the ISO 22000 standards on food safety, documentation and quality. - Ensuring compliance with AGMARK, BIS, EIA and other legal requirements related to food safety in food processing industry. - Ensure quality standards of milk and milk products at every stage - be it procurement, processing and sales. - Will be food Safety Team Leader as well as FSSAI nominee. 2. Managing quality operations: - Ensuring / maintaining overall Quality activities as per guidelines, QA plans, SOP etc for plant. - Conduct performance audit of vendors, packaging suppliers and CC regularly. - Ensuring that safety and GMP/GHP (good manufacturing practices and good hygiene practices) are followed to ensure hygiene and cleanliness. - Addressing all quality complaints from external and internal customers and driving improvement for quality. - Preparing annual budget for the quality department and ensuring compliance to budgeted spends. - Lead the quality team members across Comany, based out of manufacturing plant as well as Chilling centre through continuous performance feedback and providing requisite trainings. 3. Driving improvements in Quality: - Ensuring adequate documentation of all quality processes followed, and analyzing them on a weekly, monthly, annual basis to identify trends. - Driving continuous improvement of milk quality, including training to employees on food safety and cleaning in plant and in CC. - Analyzing quality of competitor products on a continuous basis and developing processes to improve quality of milk and products. - Collaborating with the plant head and procurement lead to improve quality in operations - by proactively identifying and closing gaps in process. - Keep Updates of new legal compliances for Food safety. 4. R&D/New product Development - Driving research and development across all product categories. In collaboration with cross functional teams, research product ideas, determine feasibility, create prototypes, stabilize formulations for scale up - Create and drive new product development pipeline portfolio, to ensure successful rollout of value added profitable products to achieve growth plans Position Requirements: 1. PG in Dairy Technology /Dairy Science/Food Processing /Chemistry or Microbiology, M.Tech (DT). 2. Prior work Experience : 15-20 years, Should be at least 10 years experience in dairy 3. In the role of Area Sales Manager Dairy Products, the candidate will take charge of a defined area business of Priya Milk as specified from time to time. The Area Sales Manager –Dairy Products would be reporting to the Regional Sales Manager -Dairy products. • Product Category: Ambient Products / Chilled Products / As specified. • Channel of Business: General Trade , Standalone Supermarkets. • Scope of the Business: • Sales and Distribution: • To appoint distributors / channel partners / super stockiest in his area of operation. • Create and manage the prescribed route to market strategy. Ensure scientific numeric distribution and market coverage as per plan. Ensure range selling, improve outlet throughputs and productivity month on month. Conduct drives to open new outlets, classification of outlets and devise specific service and support plans. • Conduct new product launches through meticulous planning and proper execution. • Ensure proper implementation of schemes and all BTL activities on the ground. • Ensure proper visibility of the brand in the market . • Ensure proper accounting and judicious placement of all the POP materials in the market. Ensure proper product hygiene and ageing norms and take corrective actions for the slow/non moving stocks Channel Partner management : Manage all affairs related to the distributors / channel partners regarding Priya Milk business. • Monitor stocks , there ageing , proper upkeep etc of all the stocks in his custody and submit monthly ‘Stock Receipt and Sales Statement’ (SRSS) with details of product mfg dates.
