Role Importance and Expectations This highly responsible position serves as the sole HR representative, requiring sharpness, swift action, and independent decision-making with minimal supervision. The selected candidate must take full ownership of HR functions, navigate complex employee relations and compliance confidently, demonstrate strong judgment in a fast-paced multi-department environment, and uphold confidentiality while prioritizing employee welfare. Senior experience in similar setups is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Manage full employee lifecycle: maintain master database (department, site/office, timings, contracts, documents); reconcile daily attendance via biometric/app for office and manual/site reports. Handle leave approvals, payroll inputs (attendance, overtime, advances), and coordinate with CA for salary processing, slips, TDS/PF/ESI under Maharashtra Shops & Establishments Act. Draft/post JDs, screen candidates, conduct interviews, manage onboarding (offers, orientation, probation), and exits (resignations, terminations, full-and-final) across all departments including on-site engineers. Develop/enforce policies on working hours (office vs site), leaves, code of conduct, overtime, safety; maintain statutory registers and support legal/CA on compliance. Track performance (probation/annual reviews), handle grievances, feedback surveys, basic engagement (birthdays, team meets); prepare monthly HR reports on headcount, attrition, leaves. Required Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's/MBA in HR, Business, or related; strong knowledge of Indian labor laws (Shops Act, PF/ESI, site minimum wages). 3-5+ years hands-on experience in recruitment, payroll coordination, compliance for mixed office/site teams; familiarity with HR tools (Google Sheets/Zoho/attendance apps). Excellent communication for employee relations, policy rollout, site coordination; proactive, decisive problem-solver with multitasking and confidentiality skills. Preferred: Real estate/construction exposure, MS Excel for reports/dashboards.
