Job Description: As an Instrumentation Designer, you will be responsible for handling various tasks related to control systems design, instrument calibration, data acquisition, and instrument datasheets. Your role will involve activities such as print review, cable schedule, cable drum schedule, bulk MTO, wiring diagrams, interconnection schedule, cable block diagram, IO database management, and installation details. It is important to note that 3D modeling or 2D drafting skills are not required for this position. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 to 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas or Chemical Industry. A qualification of BE/Diploma in Instrument Engineering is required for this role. The duration of the project is expected to be six months to one year with a possibility of extension based on project requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Prepare, maintain, and update instrument datasheets in the specified formats. - Review and provide feedback on post-order vendor documents to ensure compliance with project specifications. - Participate in meetings with vendors to address comments and obtain document approval. - Perform instrument installation engineering activities including junction box grouping, cable scheduling, and bulk MTO. - Update the instrument database with information from various engineering documents such as P&ID, GAD, wiring diagrams, and cause & effect diagrams. This position is based in Vadodara, Mumbai, Bangalore, or Chennai with a preference for early joiners.
