Principal Technical Quality Engineer

As a Technical Quality Engineer at Cadence, you will be working with the global silicon solutions teams to design semiconductor IP for top electronic product companies using cutting-edge semiconductor processes and industry tools. Your role will involve collaborating with design teams, engineering management, CAD, and methodology teams to enhance processes and ensure the delivery of high-quality products to customers. **Key Responsibilities:** - Actively participate in the global IP Quality Team. - Represent the Cadence Quality Team to customers and partners. - Implement improvements to flows and procedures across the organization. - Define and maintain quality procedures for multiple design teams. - Generate, maintain, and interpret quality metrics. - Conduct Root-Cause-Analysis and identify Corrective Actions. - Facilitate Post-Mortem reviews and communicate results. - Assist in the preparation of Failure Analysis reports. - Maintain quality certifications such as ISO9001 and ISO26262. - Support involvement in external semiconductor foundry quality programs. **Qualifications Required:** - Education: MSEE - Experience: 5+ years - Hands-on experience in analog or digital IC design or verification, or silicon fabrication quality assurance/control. - Experience in defect management and analysis processes like RCA, 5Why, and 8D. - Strong communication, quality consciousness, and sense of responsibility. - Strong problem analysis and teamwork skills.
