Principal Tech Lead, Software Engineering

Role Overview: As a Principal Tech Lead, Software Engineering at Trintech, your main focus will be on the technical vision, design, development, execution, and maintenance of Trintech's integration platform. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of the project, developing high-quality software, analyzing requirements, writing efficient code, conducting thorough testing, and providing regular updates to stakeholders. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet complex initiative requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions is a key aspect of this role. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and implement RESTful APIs and Blazor components for Trintech's Integration Platform site and back-end systems. - Implement data mapping, transformation, and validation functionality. - Stay updated with industry trends and technology advancements. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and implement comprehensive solutions. - Participate actively in planning, analysis, and estimation of backlog requirements. - Conduct technical research to recommend new technologies. - Provide tactical directions to the team to ensure code and software meet user and business requirements. - Adhere to the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, testing, delivery, and maintenance. - Develop automated tests to validate functionality and ensure reliability. - Troubleshoot, debug, and address defects/issues in code. - Create and maintain a streamlined deployment process for different environments. - Conduct thorough code reviews and provide feedback on architecture, design, and code quality. - Guide and mentor junior team members. Qualifications Required: - Masters degree in computer science with 10+ years of experience OR Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of experience in Software Engineering. - 10+ years experience with .NET development, including C#, ASP.NET/Blazor, and ORM frameworks. - 4+ years of experience in REST API design and implementation. - Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases, as well as cloud-based databases. - Knowledge of software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle. - Proficiency with environment components such as Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, Spring Cloud Config, or similar technologies. - Working knowledge of Cloud services and application deployments. - Proficient with Azure Pipelines or similar deployment technologies. - Experience working with test-driven development and automation frameworks. - Strong communication and leadership skills.
