Principal Software Engineer - Cloud Services

Role Overview: You are being offered an opportunity to join Nasuni as a Principal Software Engineer in the Cloud Services team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and supporting production deliverables for the UniFS suite of storage products. You will work in small Agile scrum teams, collaborating with cross-functional roles to deliver high-quality customer-driven products. Your expertise in AWS and Azure cloud services will be utilized to design and develop next-generation storage services. Key Responsibilities: - Code and support production deliverables for the UniFS suite of storage products - Participate in Agile scrum teams, leading multi-developer feature teams - Collaborate with QA, Support, and Documentation groups - Work with AWS and Azure cloud services, author tests, and contribute to the development of the CI/CD pipeline - Translate requirements into technical specifications and provide technical leadership to more junior engineers - Drive the implementation of best practices for securing internet-facing applications and continuously improve development processes, tools, and methodologies Qualifications Required: - BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech in computer science, Electronics and Communications, or MCA - 9 to 12 years of industry experience with at least 7+ years in production python development - Strong familiarity with serverless environment, AWS Lambda, S3, DynamoDB, SQS, Kinesis, Azure Container Apps, Blob Storage, CosmosDB, Service Bus, Event Hub - Proficiency in Python testing/mocking, Docker, boto3, azure-sdk-for-python, Pydantic, FastAPI, and infrastructure as code technologies - Experience with web services, distributed systems technologies, and architectures Additional Details: Nasuni is a profitable and growing SaaS data infrastructure company revolutionizing enterprise file storage and data management in an AI-driven world.
