As a Software Principal Engineer on the PowerScale Engineering Team in Bangalore, you will play a key role in this evolution. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and deliver solutions for distributed computing problems related to the scale-out OneFS filesystem and data services - Develop features for OneFS to enhance scale, performance, and GenAI readiness of PowerScale - Collaborate within and outside your scrum team throughout the software development cycle to ensure optimized solutions with the highest quality Qualifications Required: - Bachelors in Computer Science or related technical field with 8 to 12 years of relevant work experience in Distributed Software Systems, Operating Systems, File Systems, or Embedded Software - Proficiency in developing system software using C programming - Experience in Advanced Data Structures, Memory Management, Locking, Design Patterns, Multithreading, and Parallel Programming - Strong understanding of Algorithms, Concurrency Models, Design Patterns, and Asynchronous Concepts - Knowledge of UNIX/Linux/POSIX-based systems software development, storage networking protocols, and architectures Additional Company Details: Dell Technologies believes in the power of each individual to make an impact and places its team members at the core of its operations.
