Job Description: The Lower Primary School Principal plays a vital role in providing leadership and guidance to ensure the effective operation and continuous improvement of the lower primary school section. They are responsible for fostering a positive learning environment, promoting academic excellence, and supporting the holistic development of students. Key Responsibilities: Educational Leadership : Provide visionary leadership to the lower primary school section, setting strategic goals and objectives aligned with the school's mission and vision. Develop and implement policies, procedures, and programs to enhance the quality of education and student outcomes. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement among faculty, staff, students, and parents. Curriculum Development and Implementation : Oversee the development, review, and implementation of a comprehensive curriculum that meets academic standards and promotes student engagement and success. Monitor curriculum delivery to ensure alignment with best practices, educational standards, and student needs. Support teachers in designing effective instructional strategies and assessments to meet the diverse learning needs of students. Student Support and Welfare : Promote a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment conducive to the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of students. Implement proactive measures to address student concerns, behavior management, and discipline issues in accordance with school policies and procedures. Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and support staff to provide appropriate interventions and support services for students with diverse learning needs. Staff Development and Management : Recruit, select, and retain qualified faculty and staff members who are dedicated to the school's mission and values. Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development opportunities to enhance the effectiveness and satisfaction of faculty and staff. Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and recognize and reward exemplary performance. Parent and Community Engagement : Cultivate positive relationships with parents, guardians, and the broader community through effective communication, outreach activities, and involvement in school events. Collaborate with parents and community stakeholders to promote parental involvement, volunteerism, and support for the school's educational programs and initiatives. Basic Qualifications: Education: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent (Plus Two/12th grade). Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills. Empathy: Ability to understand and empathize with the challenges students face. Organizational Skills: Effective organization and time management skills. Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in using computer applications for record-keeping and communication. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Education or related field (Master's degree preferred). Valid teaching certification and administrative licensure. Minimum of 5 years of experience in educational leadership roles, preferably as a principal or assistant principal in a primary school setting. Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Proficiency in curriculum development, instructional leadership, and educational technology. Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in education. Fluent in English communication. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month Schedule: Day shift Weekend availability Supplemental Pay: Performance bonus Work Location: In person
