Principal Product Designer

We are seeking a talented UI/UX Designer to bridge the gap between design practices. The ideal candidate should possess an eye for clean and artful design, superior UI skills, and the ability to translate high-level requirements into interaction flows and artifacts. Your role will involve transforming these requirements into beautiful, intuitive, and functional user interfaces. Your main responsibilities will include collaborating with Product and engineering teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and user experience. You will be responsible for executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off, conceptualizing original ideas to simplify complex design challenges, creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps to effectively communicate design ideas, as well as delivering wireframes, mockups, style guidelines, iconography, and prototypes for standard and responsive layouts. Additionally, you will support UI-related development using code-snippets, peer programming, and written instruction, present and defend designs to peers and stakeholders, and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards. As a qualified candidate, you should hold a Bachelor's Degree or possess equivalent experience. You should have at least 12 years of design experience with demonstrable UI design skills and a strong portfolio. Advanced proficiency in tools such as Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, and other related visual design and wire-framing tools is required. Working knowledge of Bootstrap, HTML, CSS (SASS), and JavaScript is essential, along with excellent visual design and communication skills. It is crucial to stay up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies, and have a firm understanding of Material Design components and patterns. Being open to receiving objective criticism and continuously improving is also key to this role.
