Principal Database Administrator with a strong background in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server database management

Key Responsibilities:

Install, administer, maintain, patch and optimize

independent day-to-day incident/deployment support

technical leadership role in incident response, maintenance, documentation and support of complex large, distributed servers environment

Develop and implement procedures that support proactive monitoring

Maintain and implement improvements to security, integrity, and backup/recovery procedures

resolve database issues independently

Required Qualifications:

10+ years experience as a Senior Database Administrator (Oracle + MS-SQL).

Strong and independent understanding of Oracle and MS-SQL database technologies including but not limited to standalone and distributed databases

Oracle Cluster

Microsoft SQL Server high availability

Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

experience with database design, implementation, installation and maintenance
