Principal Network Reliability Engineer - Circuit Ops (Optical)

You will be joining the network operations center team at OCI, where your primary responsibility will be to ensure repair and network availability across OCI's global network. As part of this team, you will provide support to the Tier 1 GNOC as an escalation resource, with a specific focus on maintaining the general network availability of the optical network. Key Responsibilities: - Troubleshoot and repair issues related to Infinera line system & optical line protection - Manage and maintain Cisco line system & optical line protection - Utilize your experience with Arista or other datacenter switch to ensure smooth network operations - Work with ZR tunable optics to optimize network performance - Demonstrate understanding of fiber routes, entrances, and diversity requirements - Implement striping, failure modeling, and traffic drain strategies to enhance network resilience Qualifications Required: - Proficiency in working with Infinera line system & optical line protection - Familiarity with Cisco line system & optical line protection - Experience with Arista or other datacenter switch configuration - Knowledge of ZR tunable optics and its application in network optimization - Understanding of fiber routes, entrances, and diversity requirements - Ability to implement striping, failure modeling, and traffic drain techniques to improve network reliability,
