Principal Network Developer (Full Stack Developer)

As a senior Java/VUE/Quasar Full-Stack application developer in the Network Automation team at LSEG, your role involves developing software solutions for automatic instantiation of network connectivity and services such as DNS, IPAM, load balancers, and firewalls. The solutions you create translate user requirements into actions on network infrastructure. The development is primarily focused on software applications using micro-service architecture, infrastructure-as-code, and CI/CD pipeline code. Your key responsibilities in this role include: - Determining high-level functional and technical requirements based on interactions with product owners and architects - Designing software to meet current and future cross-functional requirements - Planning project schedules and technical direction in collaboration with Product Owners - Providing quality assurance reviews and evaluations of existing and new software products - Developing high-level system design diagrams for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation - Implementing moderate to complex web applications To excel in this role, you are required to have the following qualifications and experience: - Mentoring junior software developers on design patterns, development best practices, and DevOps trade-offs - Working with ancillary technologies for Internet applications like HTTP, TCP/IP, POP/SMTP - Experience in high scalability projects with cloud-based infrastructure design - Strong knowledge of object-oriented design and development - Track record of developing quality software products and shipping production-ready software - Understanding of Web Services protocols such as REST and API design - Experience with debugging distributed systems and distributed data models - Familiarity with Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) models - Proficiency in backend development using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Gradle - Frontend development experience using Javascript, TypeScript, Vue.js, Quasar - Knowledge of version control software like GIT - Experience with Agile development methodologies - Familiarity with SQL queries for PostGres Additionally, LSEG is a global financial markets infrastructure and data provider with a purpose of driving financial stability, empowering economies, and enabling sustainable growth.
