Principal Engineer _Compute SW

As a Software Project Engineer (SW PE) at Qualcomm India Private Limited, you will play a crucial role in planning and executing projects from concept to commercialization. Your strong analytical abilities, quick comprehension skills, excellent collaboration, and effective communication skills will be key to your success in this role. You will work closely with cross-functional leads to drive resolution of engineering issues and ensure the software product meets expected functionality, power, and performance within schedule. **Key Responsibilities:** - Own software execution and communication across technology teams - Discuss architecture, design, and development strategy as the technology owner - Enable teams to navigate solution engineering for complex system issues - Represent SW engineering in executive reviews - Drive industry best practices for software engineering - Ensure quality goals are met and identify key risks to the program - Contribute to project retrospectives and incorporate learnings from prior programs **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's / master's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field - 15+ years of Software Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related experience in embedded systems - Prior experience in driving engineering execution for complex features - Good understanding of Chipset / System architecture - Experience in SW Project Engineering or Tech-Component Project Engineering Qualcomm India Private Limited is an equal opportunity employer committed to providing accommodation for individuals with disabilities during the application/hiring process.
