Key Responsibilities: - Lead and mentor a team of data engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. - Supervise the planning and execution of data projects in alignment with business objectives and timelines. - Provide technical guidance and promote best practices in data engineering. - Implement and maintain ELT processes using scalable data pipelines and architecture. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver effective solutions. - Ensure data integrity and quality across different data sources. - Support data-driven decision-making by providing clean, reliable, and timely data. - Define high-quality data standards for Data Science and Analytics use-cases and contribute to shaping the data roadmap. - Design, develop, and maintain data models for ML Engineers, Data Analysts, and Data Scientists. - Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify data patterns and trends. - Identify opportunities for process enhancement and drive continuous improvement in data operations. - Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in data engineering. About You: The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of delivering results in a dynamic business environment and be comfortable with change and uncertainty. Requirements: - Previous experience in leading a team with the final technical sign-off responsibility. - Proficiency in PostgreSQL and SQL technologies. - Fluent in Python programming. - Understanding of data architecture, pipelines, ELT flows, and methodologies. - Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices. Preferred Skills: - Experience with dbt (Data Build Tool). - Proficiency in pipeline technologies within AWS. - Knowledge of data modeling and statistics. Education Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
