About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and proactive Senior Maintenance Officer to Lead to oversee and coordinate the day-to-day maintenance operations across our facilities and ensure the safe and efficient functioning of all equipment, systems, and infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent troubleshooting skills, and the ability to manage a team and coordinate with external vendors.. This role includes supervising maintenance staff, managing preventative maintenance schedules, and responding to urgent repair needs. This role will be instrumental in driving the financial success of our organization. Key Responsibilities: · Supervise and coordinate the activities of the maintenance team, contractors, and service providers. Oversee day-to-day maintenance operations, including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance. · Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians and contractors and Develop, implement, and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance plans. · Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment and systems to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance. (electrical, plumbing, etc.). · Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to minimize downtime and building infrastructure. · Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards, codes, and regulatory requirements.. · Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs. · Coordinate with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks. · Manage maintenance budgets, inventory of tools and spare parts and recommend cost-effective solutions. · Assist in planning and executing infrastructure upgrades or renovations. · Provide training and mentorship to junior maintenance staff. · Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies. Qualifications and Experience: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or relevant technical field. Minimum 5+ years of experience in construction equipment maintenance, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems used in construction machinery. Familiarity with maintenance tools, diagnostic equipment, and safety standards. Strong organizational and leadership skills. Proficient in using maintenance tracking software or CMMS systems. Ability to work at construction sites under varying environmental conditions. Preferred Qualifications: Certification in heavy equipment maintenance, electrical systems, or safety (e.g., OSHA). Experience managing maintenance in large-scale civil or infrastructure projects. Working Conditions: Primarily site-based with occasional travel to other project locations. May require overtime or on-call duty during equipment failures or emergencies.
