PRIMARY MATHEMATICS TEACHER

As a Primary Mathematics Teacher at The Vels Academy, your role involves: - Delivering engaging and well-structured math lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Mathematics framework. - Fostering conceptual understanding, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills among students. - Integrating hands-on activities, manipulatives, and real-life applications to make learning mathematics enjoyable and effective. - Assessing, recording, and reporting student progress in accordance with school and Cambridge standards. - Collaborating with colleagues to design interdisciplinary and project-based learning experiences. - Providing additional learning support or enrichment based on individual student needs. - Maintaining a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and confidence. Qualifications & Experience required for this role: - Bachelors or Masters degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field. - B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred. - Prior experience teaching Mathematics at the primary level, preferably within a Cambridge or international curriculum setting. - Strong subject knowledge and the ability to simplify complex concepts for young learners. - Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
