Primary english teacher

We are seeking a passionate and experienced female Primary English Teacher to join our CBSE school faculty for Grades 3 to 5. The ideal candidate should have excellent command over English, a strong foundation in child pedagogy, and the ability to create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment. Prior CBSE teaching experience and a student-centered approach are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach English language and literature to students from Grades 3 to 5 following CBSE guidelines.
• Develop lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments aligned with NCERT objectives.
• Focus on reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, and creative writing skills.
• Incorporate activity-based learning, storytelling, and language games to keep students engaged.
• Use smart classroom tools and digital platforms to enhance the learning experience.
• Assess students through formative and summative assessments, including projects and presentations.
• Maintain student progress reports and participate in Parent-Teacher Meetings (PTMs).
• Support students with remedial classes or extra guidance when needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture, promoting respect and cooperation.
• Participate in school events, workshops, training sessions, and academic reviews.

• Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s Degree in English / Literature / Education or equivalent.
• B.Ed. (Mandatory) from a recognized institution (CBSE-compliant).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience in primary classes (Grades 3–5) in a CBSE school.
• Proficient in English communication – both spoken and written.

Preferred Qualifications/Certifications:

• TET/CTET qualified (preferred).
• Montessori/Phonics training is a plus.
• Experience with Google Classroom, MS Teams, or any Learning Management System (LMS).
