As a Fashion Designer specializing in Women's Apparels, you will be responsible for developing prints and patterns, managing the design process from conception to final styling, and conducting market research to identify new trends, fabrics, and techniques. Your role will involve collaborating with team members to select seasonal themes, make edits to the line, and create new concepts. You will ensure that the products align with the business strategy, select appropriate fabrics and trims, and create production sketches for development packages. Additionally, you will collaborate with technical designers to ensure the accuracy of development packages, review products for style and fit during presentations, and present story, mood, color boards, and samples to buyers. To qualify for this position, you should have a Bachelor's degree in design, fine arts, or a related field, with 2-5 years of experience in fashion design. Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is required, and knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and Clo3D is an added advantage. You must be open to traveling for research and product development, possess excellent design and conceptual skills, have a keen sense of style and color, and demonstrate outstanding written and verbal communication skills. The ability to manage multiple deadlines effectively is crucial. This is a full-time position that requires you to work in person.
