At Whatfix, we embody the spirit of "Hustle Mode ON" and are currently seeking a dynamic (Senior) Sales Engineer to join our Bengaluru team in India. In this role, you will serve as the resident expert on Whatfix products, collaborating with the Sales team to effectively communicate the value proposition and advantages of the Whatfix solution to potential clients. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing a comprehensive understanding of the Whatfix product suite and keeping abreast of competitive offerings. - Collaborating with the sales team to deliver customized product demonstrations, technical presentations, and proof-of-concepts (POCs). - Articulating the value proposition and technical merits of Whatfix solutions to a diverse range of stakeholders. - Leading the technical discovery process to identify client requirements and align them with our platform capabilities. - Supporting and addressing Requests for Proposals/Information (RFPs/RFIs) with precise and compelling technical content. - Engaging cross-functionally with Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams to tailor solutions to meet customer needs. - Representing Whatfix at various events such as conferences, webinars, and customer workshops. - Gathering and conveying customer feedback to shape product development. - Providing consultative guidance throughout complex sales cycles to help prospects envision successful outcomes. The ideal candidate will possess: - 3+ years of experience in Presales, Sales Engineering, Solutions Consulting, or related technical roles. - Proficiency in web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES5, ES6+). - Previous hands-on experience in development or a background in web/software development. - A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field (preferred). - Ability to effectively present to both technical and non-technical audiences, including senior decision-makers. - Skill in simplifying and explaining complex technical concepts in a clear and persuasive manner. - Experience with SaaS products or enterprise software implementations. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Proactive, collaborative, and customer-centric problem-solving approach. - Willingness to travel for customer meetings, demos, or events (including domestic and occasional international travel). Desired qualifications include an understanding of SaaS business models, performance-focused platforms, and prior experience in digital adoption, user engagement platforms, or enterprise SaaS tools.
