You will be a proactive and detail-oriented Junior Merchandiser supporting the merchandising team in executing orders, managing client communication, and ensuring timely delivery of home textile products. Your role involves coordinating with internal departments, vendors, and clients to meet quality, cost, and delivery targets. Assisting in handling buyer accounts and day-to-day communications with clients will be a key responsibility. You will collaborate with production, design, and sourcing teams to ensure order requirements are met. Additionally, you will help in developing samples, tracking their approval process, and preparing and maintaining various merchandising documentation such as order sheets, costing sheets, and T&A calendars. Tracking order status, following up on timely shipments and deliveries, and maintaining records of trims, fabrics, and other raw materials will be part of your duties. You will also support market research and trend analysis for product development and liaise with quality control teams to ensure compliance with buyer standards. Attending meetings with buyers and senior merchandisers when required and supporting in pricing, negotiation, and vendor follow-ups are also expected. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field with 02 years of experience in merchandising, preferably in the home textiles sector. A basic understanding of textiles, production processes, and export documentation is essential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel) and merchandising software/tools, and the ability to multitask with attention to detail are required.
