Preclinical Scientist

As a Scientist at Dr. Reddys Laboratories Ltd., you will be a key member of the Pre-clinical team, supporting cross functional teams in the development of generics, complex generics, and differentiated products across all verticals and global markets. Your responsibilities will include: - Preparation of Toxicological Risk Assessments, Permissible Daily Exposure, and Occupational Exposure Limit monographs for excipients, impurities, extractables, and leachables. - Responding to queries on toxicological hazards from various teams and assisting in problem-solving for Actives, intermediates, and KSMs. - Supporting in the development of pre-clinical strategy for complex generics and designing Preclinical/Non-clinical (in-vitro/in-vivo) studies. - Assisting in Pre-clinical CRO qualification, GLP/Non-GLP study audits, review of study protocols, reports, and data analysis. - Continuous gathering and analysis of peer-reviewed literature, regulatory guidelines, and scientific reports related to Pre-clinical models & Toxicological risk assessments. - Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to provide toxicological assessments & study support aligned with project goals and regulatory requirements. - Preparation, maintenance, and adherence to SOPs. Qualifications: - Educational qualification: Masters Degree (M.V.Sc, M. Pharm in Pharmacology). - Minimum work experience: 5-6 years in the Pharma Industry focusing on Pre-clinical/Toxicology risk assessments.
