Precast Detailer

Job Summary

The Precast Detailer will be responsible for preparing, reviewing, and coordinating precast shop drawings for residential and commercial projects, with strong emphasis on identifying errors, discrepancies, and constructability issues in drawings before production and site execution.

Key Roles & Responsibilities (Including Error Findings in Drawings)Precast Detailing & Coordination

• Prepare accurate precast shop drawings for beams, columns, slabs, walls, staircases, balconies, and façade elements
• Develop GA drawings, production drawings, erection drawings, and BBS
• Ensure drawings align with architectural, structural, and MEP layouts

Error Identification & Drawing Checks

• Identify and report design errors, omissions, and inconsistencies in:
• Structural vs architectural drawings
• Precast element sizes, levels, and alignment
• Reinforcement detailing and bar spacing
• Inserts, embeds, sleeves, and lifting hooks
• Openings, cut-outs, and service penetrations
• Detect clashes between precast elements and MEP services
• Check tolerances, joint details, and connection details
• Verify load paths, bearing lengths, and support conditions
• Review drawing revisions and ensure latest approved drawings are used
• Raise RFIs / Technical Queries for all discrepancies before casting

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / BE / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• 3–7 years of experience in precast detailing with drawing review responsibility
• Prior experience in real estate developers / precast plants / EPC companies preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹40,000.00 per month
