We are seeking a skilled Product Designer with strong expertise in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Fusion 360 to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing innovative and manufacturable product designs, creating detailed 3D models and 2D drawings, and collaborating with production teams to ensure precision and efficiency in execution. Location: Karur, Tamil Nadu Experience: Minimum 3 years in the product designing field Salary Range: INR 5.4 – 6.6 LPA (CTC) Key Responsibilities • Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Fusion 360. • Create detailed 2D drawings, 3D models, and BOMs (Bill of Materials) for manufacturing. • Conduct design feasibility analysis and ensure manufacturability of components. • Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure design intent and precision are maintained. • Revise and optimize existing designs to improve functionality, performance, and cost-efficiency. • Perform tolerance analysis, material selection, and interference checks. • Apply GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) principles in all technical drawings. • Support prototype development, testing, and validation processes. • Maintain organized documentation of all design versions and revisions. Required Qualifications & Skills • B.E / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, or equivalent discipline. • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in product or component design. • Proficiency in SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Fusion 360 (mandatory). • Strong understanding of GD&T; (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), manufacturing processes, and mechanical assemblies. • Knowledge of materials, machining operations (turning, milling, etc.), and fabrication techniques. • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple design tasks efficiently. Preferred Skills • Mandatory hands-on experience with SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Fusion 360 in real-world product design projects. • Experience in sheet metal design, fixture/tool design, or precision engineering. • Familiarity with simulation and FEA tools within SolidWorks or Fusion 360. • Understanding of ISO or AS drawing standards and documentation practices. • Rendering and product visualization capabilities.
